Permanent make up is a life changing experience for anyone who wants to wake up with flawless brows everyday. If you have over plucked your brows, your hair is thinning or lightening through the years, or you have no eyebrow hair at all, you’ve come to the right place!

Microblading is NOT the safest option for everyone when it comes to permanent make up. Microblading should not be performed on anyone who is prone to keloid scarring. Microblading will fade quickly on oily skin types.

NANO BROWS is the preferred method to create realistic hair strokes. It is more gentle on the skin, has a much lower risk of creating scar tissue, and lasts longer on oily skin.

What’s the difference?

Microblading is performed with tiny needles that form into a small blade. The blade cuts into the skin in the shape of an eyebrow hair and pigment is deposited right above the dermis, in the basal layer of the epidermis.

Nano brows deposits tiny pin-like dots of pigment with a tattoo machine into the epidermis. Because it’s done with a tattoo machine and not a blade, the hairs are created to look 3 dimensional and more realistic.

When our skin is cut with a blade, our body naturally reacts by creating scar tissue. This is likely to form when microblading is performed. Although it may not be noticeable at first, after years of annual touch ups the scar tissue builds up and is not ideal for longevity. Nano brows and microshading, both done with a tattoo machine, are similar to microneedling, which actually improves skin textures, treats scar tissue, and increases collagen production.

It lasts 1-3+ years, depending on your skin’s cell turn over rate, how well you take care of them, and how oily your skin is. A touch up every 12 to 18 moths is highly recommend to ensure perfection.

Although pain tolerance varies, minimal discomfort is how most would describe it. A numbing agent can be applied pre-procedure and post-precedure.

Each artist has a different style and technique. Unfortunately, some artists perform cosmetic tattooing without the proper knowledge and training. A common concern is if the pigment color will change overtime. If an artist places the pigment too deep in the skin, the color will turn blue or gray overtime. Aishah is trained in proper placement of pigment along with color theory to get your perfect shade.
